Addressing Racism as a Public Health Crisis Join
The County of San Diego Board of Supervisors has publicly and openly acknowledged racism as a public health crisis. On March 24 we will learn about bold actions planned by the County to transform our region to be more inclusive, responsive, and anti-racist. Chair Nathan Fletcher will present steps the County will take to address institutional racism and implement policies and actions with an equity lens. Mr. Strong will discuss the vision of the newly formed Office of Equity & Racial Justice and how he plans to work and build trust with communities throughout the region.
