SDSU Center for Excellence in Aging & Longevity (CEAL) Spring Symposium
Join SDSU Center for Excellence in Aging & Longevity (CEAL) at their inaugural Spring Symposium and Resource Fair featuring keynote speaker, Dr. Lindsey Yourman, County of San Diego Chief Geriatric Officer, who will share her expertise on the Age-Friendly Roadmap and the 4M’s of Age-Friendly Clinical Healthcare.
Panel one will feature Dr. Scott Kaiser from Determined Health, Erin Westphal from The SCAN Foundation, and Danielle Glorioso from UC San Diego Stein Institute for Research on Aging, who will engage in a discussion on geriatric care transformation. Panel two will bring together industry leaders, Brent Wakefield from Meals on Wheels San Diego County, Scott J. Tarde, L.N.H.A. from George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers, Inc.®, Shacasey Rogers from HumanGood, and Joe Garbanzos from AARP, to explore strategies for workforce development.
Throughout the symposium, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local organizations including The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at SDSU Global Campus, San Diego Oasis, Sharp HealthCare Resource Center, County of San Diego Aging & Independence Services, Caregiver Coalition of San Diego, ElderHelp of San Diego, City of La Mesa Adult Enrichment Center, St. Paul’s PACE, and more.
